Tasty Byte: Bohanan’s
I have visited Bohanan’s on several occasions as it is conveniently located across the street of the Majestic Theater! Make sure you check out their extensive menu my friend and I have visited during lunch and it was fabulous also! What’s nice about this restaurant is that if you are in a rush, about to see a play, you can enjoy a quick drink and some light finger foods during the lower section of the restaurant, Bohanan’s Bar. It’s more casual but still a great ambiance, “an urban bar with old world ambiance.” Upstairs is a decadent evening of featured steaks and seafood, frequently featured in famous “Top Ten Steakhouses in America/Texas/San Antonio” lists.

Fall in Love with These Drinks!
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Bohanan’s is offering 3 very fun cocktails (pictures below) that include the “Valentine’s Fix”, “Cats Meow”, and “The Eskimo Kiss” which adorably serves two.
- Valentine’s Fix recipe from Bohanan’s
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
One large ripe strawberry, sliced
2oz gin, vodka, white rum OR white tequila
- Cat’s Meow recipe from Bohanan’s
1.5oz Kahlua
1 oz Anejo Rum
.5 oz Licor 43
One ounce heavy cream
- Eskimo Kiss recipe from Bohanan’s
(Serves two)
In a pint glass, muddle a handfull of mint leaves, 2 brown sugar cubes, and 2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice and 1.5oz of sugar syrup.
Add 4oz of white rum
Fill glass with crushed ice.
Add 2 straws, garnish with a mint sprig.
